I’m currently studying math and physics at Skyline College in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Before this, I moved to Milan for a year to live on my own in a big city, begin university in math, and understand what value I actually care to bring to the world. I also cofounded a startup connecting experts with people who wanted to grow professionally through webinars, which was later absorbed by a local company.
Before that, I cofounded a business selling personalized merchandise to high schools in my hometown and reaching roughly €90k in revenue over two years.
I travelled around Europe as a volunteer with a company working alongside organizations in technology and humanitarian environments.
I spent half of high school in school and half homeschooled, partly so I could take care of my grandmother, who was like a second mother to me and was dying of cancer, and partly so I could travel, volunteer, and pursue projects without the constraints of physical attendance.
About my interests
What matters most to me, both in terms of care and satisfaction, is helping actualize the world I bet other people also want to see.
I love exploring unthinkable ideas to stretch my open-mindedness. Sometimes I think I would like a life where my end products are ideas, but I also think creation and advancement are our responsibility. Additionally I don’t like writing, but I do it for the clarity of thought it gives.
The history of technology, science, and research, and their philosophical connections. I’m especially interested in the great labs, groups, and institutions, past and present, that expanded our collective knowledge and capabilities. So essentially: growth, progress and advancement.
Generally, anything at the intersection of mathematics, physics, neuroscience, economics, and AI.
I’m obsessed with extreme endurance and related sports, especially triathlons, ultramarathons, and mountaineering, as well as the physiology, training, and nutrition behind them. Currently experimenting with keto.
Fundamental ideas like value, complexity, infinity, recursion, uncertainty, chaos, entropy, novelty, boredom, tolerance, and truth, especially how they relate to perception and why some of them seem unusually compelling to the human mind.
